Pisac ruins

It is located 39 km northeast of the city of Cusco (1 hour 20 minutes by car). / From the town of Písac, 7 km (30 min by car or 1 hour 30 min on foot).

Itinerary

CUSCO – SACRED VALLEY OF THE INCAS – PISAQ – OLLANTAYTAMBO – CHINCHERO – CUSCO

Cusco Andean Hike  will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning. to then head  towards the sacred valley of the incas, taking the route to the archaeological center of Pisaq. On the way there will be  short  stop at the viewpoint  so you can take some pictures and enjoy the magnificent classical view of the sacred river of the incas (willcamayu).

then we continue to Pisac, in that place you will have a tour with your guide and then you will have a time to explore and take pictures , after we will go to the craft market, located in the town of Pisaq where you will get time to visit and buy some souvenirs.

Then we go to the city of Urubamba where you will have a lunch at a tourist restaurant. after our meal we go the archaeological center of Ollantaytambo a magnificent city built by the Incas for religious purposes since in this city we can find a ceremonial center dedicated to the sun god, after the guided tour, we go to the archaeological site of Chinchero where you will visit the beautiful temple of the virgin of Monserrat build on inca foundations and you can visit the artisan Market. Finally we will board the return bus to the city of Cusco.
