CUSCO ANDEAN HIKE PORTERS
Our Porters are the most important people for Cusco Andean Hike, they represent various peoples throughout the Sacred Valley of the Incas, without them and their hard work it is impossible to create unforgettable experiences on the various routes of the great Inca trail.
They come from various high Andean communities in the Cusco region. Working as a porter on the Inca trail is very hard. Unfortunately, many companies abuse porters, mistreating them, being overweight, not providing the necessary food, for the only reason that they are constantly traveling.
It is unacceptable for us to treat them that way, that we come from the same land. Cusco Andean Hike does everything possible to treat them with all the respect they deserve, providing fair wages and the right equipment for each excursion.
Our focus is to provide a first class service without compromising the working conditions of our workers.
CUSCO ANDEAN HIKE CHEFS
Our expert cooks create exquisite traditional Peruvian dishes on all of our treks, specializing in preparing highly nutritious meals with locally sourced produce.
Each of our Chefs can satisfy any dietary needs or allergies, our buffet service on our trek routes will make walking a pleasure, knowing that every day you will have delicious food waiting for you.
