IT WILL BE 4 HOURS AND THE RE-ENTRY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED
Machu Picchu 2019 Currently, visitors can use their entrance ticket twice in Machu Picchu at the end of their tour in the citadel they can reenter up to 4 hours after they entered for the first time, but next year 2019 will change.
This, due to resolution resolution No. 216-2018 of the Ministry of Culture, published last Saturday in Legal Rules of the newspaper El Peruano, which modifies articles 7,8,12,15,16,17,18,19 and 20 of the “Regulation of sustainable use and tourist visit for the conservation of the Llaqta or Inca city of Machu Picchu“.
Article 16 of the regulation, which had already been applied between July and October of 2017, establishes that as of January 1, 2019, re-entry to the citadel of Machu Picchu will not be allowed, except for reasons of force majeure.
Likewise, the regulation provides that in 2019 the visitor’s stay in the Llaqta de Machu Pcchu will be a maximum of four (4) hours from its entry until its departure, between 6:00 and 16:00 hours, according to the respective registration (closes at 5:30 p.m.), except for the income that combines with alternate routes.

2: Mountain Machupicchu.
The modification of the norm took effect from yesterday, except the changes in article 16, which will come into effect on January 1, 2019.
